I want to start a search engine ? what do you think? Will it a good decision? Cuz already lot of search engines are fighting to be established?

it's not a bad idea. But you'll have to work hard to be popular and make users to use it.

I'm not trying to douse cold water on your plans but I think you need to think twice before investing anything on that. If you are not going to lose too much money in starting off a website like that, then it's okay for you to go ahead. But if you think you are going to spend considerable money to get your search engine up and running to compete with the big guns, then think again. Your competitors will not make it too easy for you to put up a competition against them.

Yes its good idea , if you can compete and advertise your site. You will need a lot of money for that. :D

I'd assess the reason for wanting to start a search engine first. Is your goal to make a lot of money? There are much easier ways to do that. Is it to provide something other search engines don't provide? Not likely but if it is, plan on the bigger search engines incorporating it to knock you out of the running. I've seen lots of people try to get a new search engine started and some have some pretty good USPs but never really grew large enough to make a dent in the top three.
