I think DMOZ is the best web directory in that it is manually edited by humans and that it does not just approve entries for the sake of having them. Fact is, DMOZ is Google's base directory. If the Big G pulls information from it, then DMOZ must be the best.

Hey, what would exactly be "best" for you? Why would you think this or that directory is the "best" among all the hundreds, if not thousands, of directories all over the web? I think that would make answers to your questions more factual and useful, if I may say.

For me the best web directory is no other than Goggle. They are the greatest online. They have a more stable database and more information as compared to the others.
